It is our desire to preach and counsel in such a way that the Spirit will awaken within us an eagerness to worship and serve.
A camera uses
it’s lens to refocus on an
object so that it can be viewed
in its truest form. We as Christians
get out of focus with God’s truth
from time to time. God’s Word is the
lens that will bring the truth back
into focus. View the world through
the lens of the Bible, not the
Bible through the lens of the world
To teach, preach, and counsel according to Jesus’ command in Matthew 28.
To come hand in hand, with all those who are hurting and seeking healing, by utilizing God’s Word as the guide.
To help people find their own personal relationship with God, while avoiding restraints from religious and Pharisaic opinions.
To preach true revival into all churches, reviving an eagerness to worship and serve a living God.
The Holy Bible was God breathed and is the inerrant revelation of Himself to man.
One God, existing in three persons;
God the Father, Creator of all things. He reigns providentially over all.
Jesus, the Son of God, who died on the cross of Calvary as the atoning sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. He was buried in a tomb from which He arose three days later.
The Holy Spirit is the promised Helper, dwelling within the heart of every believer from the moment of their salvation.
Salvation is offered to all who believe upon Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is a gift that can in no way be earned or bought; it can only be accepted or denied. This signifies our belief in a free will decision and denies any belief in predestined damnation.
Heaven is the eternal home for all who accept the gift of salvation and truly follow Jesus with their hearts.
Baptism is the immersion of the believer
into water, giving witness to the believer's faith in Jesus. It symbolizes the believer's death to sin and the resurrection to walk in the newness of life in Christ Jesus.
The Holy Spirit inspired human authors to pen God’s words to paper. That same Spirit inspires called men to stand before others and proclaim the truths of the scripture. As Christians, it is imperative for us to understand God’s character. As Paul told Timothy, false prophets with false messages are surrounding us. Solid biblical preaching will expose these false teachings. We, as the Church, must seek revival, which begins with biblical preaching that leaves us eager to “Refocus” on our personal relationship with God without submitting to the world.
2 Timothy 4:3-4
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (KJV)
Life is full of despairing moments and no matter what painful things are going on, there is a spiritual component that must not be overlooked. God made us part of His divine purpose, and when life takes us on a detour, the Bible, God’s moral compass, is our road map back to the truth. Biblical counseling does not ponder on what has happened to us, as much as how we reacted toward that event. Counseling with scripture helps to bring healing and change into the hearts of believers. When God’s word is used, Satan retreats because his temptations will not work against it.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All scripture is breathed out by God and
profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and
for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work. (ESV)
